- Firebase Authentication: To provide personalized features and account management, we collect personal information such as your email address and username through Firebase, our authentication service provider. This information is used to create and manage your user account.
b. Non-Personal Information
- Usage Data: We may collect information about how the extension is used, such as the frequency and duration of use. This data is anonymous and used for improving the functionality of the extension.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Personalization: Storing your customized style preferences for headings and text in Notion using Chrome's storage API to ensure they are applied consistently across sessions.
- Account Management: Authenticating and managing your user account through Firebase.
- Subscription Management: Using Stripe for handling payments, subscriptions, and related transactions for any premium features.
- Extension Functionality: Injecting scripts to apply styles only when you're on the Notion web app ("https://notion.so") and using the
activeTab
permission to ensure changes are reflected on the active Notion tab.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Firebase: We use Firebase to store your account information and manage authentication. Your email and username are stored securely by Firebase.
- Stripe: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we share limited information with Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles sensitive payment details, and we do not store credit card numbers.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request by public authorities.
